Gazelle Law was founded to support ambitious technology businesses with clear, commercial legal advice that keeps pace with how modern companies build and scale.

Over the past five years, Gazelle Law has worked with more than 50 technology and AI companies, including long-term retained engagements with globally recognised brands such as TikTok. Our clients are fast-growing, founder-led businesses operating in complex and rapidly evolving markets, and we are often the first law firm they appoint. That early involvement allows us to become a trusted partner from the outset—supporting teams as they hire, expand internationally, launch new products, and navigate increasing regulatory and commercial complexity.

Many of our clients work extensively with data and AI, giving Gazelle Law deep, practical exposure to the legal issues that matter most to modern technology companies. This has also created a strong foundation for developing AI-augmented legal services that improve efficiency, insight, and responsiveness without compromising judgement or quality.

Gazelle Law is led by Katie Cosgrove, an experienced in-house lawyer who has spent her career working inside high-growth technology businesses. She has held senior legal roles at start-ups and scale-ups, including General Counsel positions, and has also worked at major international organisations and a leading City law firm. This in-house background informs our approach: pragmatic, commercially grounded, and focused on helping founders make confident decisions rather than delivering abstract legal advice.

We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, providing senior legal support across commercial contracts, data protection and privacy, intellectual property, and broader strategic legal matters. Our model is deliberately lean and flexible, designed to give founders access to experienced legal leadership without unnecessary overhead or formality.

Gazelle Law exists to help technology founders and leadership teams build, scale, and operate with confidence—backed by legal advice that is practical, responsive, and aligned with how modern businesses actually work.
